How to Use SAPCAR
**To list the contents of SAR Files
- SAPCAR -tvsf <your-SAR-file>
**To extract SAR Files
- SAPCAR -xvf <your-SAR-file>
**To compress files to SAR Files
- SAPCAR -cvf <your-SAR-file> <file-to-compress>
How to Enable Telnet in SuSE
By default, telnet is disabled in SuSE.
1) Go to YAST & double click Software Management, in the search box, enter “telnet” and click SEARCH, tick on telnet-server and click ACCEPT. Then, you will be prompted to insert SuSE CD to continue the installation.
** You must have SuSE CD to continue the installation.
** The client side of telnet is already installed by default
2) Once installed, edit the telnet file with vi editor and change disable from “yes” to “no“. Then, save the file
#vi /etc/xinetd.d/telnet
#wq! -> to save!
3) Finally, restart the xinetd and test the connection.
#/etc/init.d/xinetd restart
# telnet <your-ip-address>
Transaction SE06 – Processing After Installation of the CTO
Transaction SE06 has to be executed once in every newly installed R/3 System. This applies to an R/3 standard installation as well as the installation of a copy of an existing R/3 system.
Transaction SE06 provides the following functions for processing after installation:
* Generating basic settings of the Change and Transport Organizer
* Closing other requests and tasks
* Setting the system change option
* Standard Installation
The system was installed from the SAP CD using R3setup. It is assumed that the system is running on a correct, delivered version of the R/3 System. No adjustments based on corrections or repairs have been made.
* Database copy or database migration
The system was created on the basis of a copy. R3setup provides utilities to do this. The system needs to be assigned a new and independent role within the SAP system group or outside of it.

How to Install SAP License
SAP license can be installed using the SLICENSE transaction. Once it has been installed, the license key is activated immediately.
** This is the initial screen of the SLICENSE transaction. Make sure that you have received the license key, installation number, hardware key and expiration date from SAP. All the prerequisites can be requested from SAP Service Marketplace
1. Run T-Code SLICENSE. Go to Install box and a pop up will appear.
