Gmail Multiple Sessions Alert

If you’re concerned about unauthorized access to your Gmail, you’ll be able to use this features to find out if & when someone gained access. The information can be use to troubleshoot unauthorized account activity in your account.

1. Scroll to the bottom of the Gmail

2. Click on Details. The page provides information about the Recent activity on this mail account and any Concurrent session.

3. Click on “Sign out all other sessions“.

4. You are now successfully signed out all other sessions. Please be aware that users can log in again if they know your password or have it saved on their computer. If you are concerned about someone using your account without your permission, please change your password.

Remove Maybank2U Favourite Bill Payee

1. Go to Payment -> Delete favourite payee

2. Under Delete favourite payee, tick on the selected box to remove the payee list

SP01: Spool/Output Request

1. On the initial screen of the SP01, you can specify selection criteria on the Spool Requests/Output Requests tab pages for displaying spool/output requests.

2. If you want to change the display of the selection fields that appear on the spool/output request tab pages of the initial screen of SP01, choose Further Selection Criteria.

3. Choose Execute to display an overview of the spool/output requests that match the selection criteria.

DB02: Database Performance [Monitoring]

DB02 - To analyze & monitor database statistics [db growth, table space size , missing index & etc]

1. Check Tablespace size

By default, 6 tablespaces were created during installation & need to be monitor from overflows. Go to Current sizes / Space statistics / Freespace statistics. If PSAP[SID] tablespace size is reaching 95% level, it’s advisable to increase the size.

* PSAP[SID] = <90%
* PSAP[SID][Kernel Version] = <90%
* PSAP[SID][User Directory] = <90%
* PSAPTEMP = <50%
* PSAPUNDO = <50%
* SYSTEM = <90%

2. Check missing indexes

Missing indexes – Indexes which are defined in the ABAP Dictionary but are missing in the database or indexes which were created in the database but are unknown to the ABAP Dictionary

3. Check Space critical objects

Space critical objects are objects that become space critical due to lack of insufficient free space in tablespace.

SM51: SAP Server Overview

The t-code sm51 is to display list of active/up/running application servers that have registered in the SAP message server.

1. Further, you can manage & display the status, users, work process in all application servers belonging to the SAP System.

• Processes - Display & control work process [sm50]

• User - Display & manage user sessions [sm04]

• SNC Status – Display SNC status

• Release Notes – Display detailed release information for an application server (SAP kernel, database, operating system)

• Remote Logon – Log on by any server in the system; you can see the server where you are logged on in the status bar in the second entry from the left.

• System Log – System logs [sm21]

View Locked User [SAP NW]

1. In SU10, go to Authorization data

2. In Authorization data, scroll down a bit, look for Additional selection criteria & tick on Locked Users Only.

3. Then, click on execute (F8). A list of locked user will appear

Lock/Unlock User in SAP [NW]

1. Go to SU01, enter the user name

2. Click on Lock/Unlock (Ctrl+F5)

3. To lock, click on lock icon (F6)

1. Go to SU01, enter the user name

2. Click on Lock/Unlock (Ctrl+F5)

3. To unlock, click on unlock icon (F7)

Create User in SAP [NW]

1. Run T-Code SU01, enter the user name and click Create [F8]

2. On the next screen, fill in the appropriate field

3. Under Logon data tab, fill in the password and User type. Normally, for end user, it will be set as Dialog. You can set the Validity period date for the user.

4. In Roles tab, you can add the user roles

5. For authorization, click on Profiles and add the authorizations

6. Save

SM21: System Logs Analysis [Monitoring]

The SAP System logs is the all system errors, warnings, user locks due to failed log on attempts from known users, and process messages in the system log. There are to two different types of logs created by the system log which is Local Logs & Central Logs. SM21 is used to check and analyze system logs for any critical log entries.

From the initial screen, go to System Log -> Choose -> All remote system logs. Set the date a day before and click on Reread system log

In the system log analysis window, you can check/analyze the critical error message by double clicking to it.

SM37: Background & Batch Jobs [Monitoring]

SM37 - monitoring for background, batch jobs running in the system.

From the initial screen, you can search by the job name, user name or program name accordingly with the time condition.

Planned - Job already been defined, but the start condition has not yet been defined.
Released - The job has been fully defined, including a start condition.
Ready - The start condition of a released job has been met. A job scheduler has put the job in line to wait for an available background work process.
Active - The job is currently running. Active jobs can no longer be modified or deleted.
Finished - All steps that make up this job have completed successfully.
Canceled - The job has terminated. This can happen in two ways:
* An administrator intentionally terminates the job
* A job step contains a program that produces an error, such as:
# an E or A error message in an ABAP program
# a failure return code from an external SAPXPG program
